MyHomePlatform is a digital home record with a built-in insurance coverage check. It is designed to hold your closing documents, policies, warranties, and a photo inventory of what you own, and to compare that inventory against your insurance limits so you can see a coverage gap before a claim does. It is being built for homeowners and will be provided through their insurance agents.

Not yet. We are building it now. Insurance agents can book a demo to see where the product is headed and talk about being among the first to offer it. Homeowners can join the waitlist to hear when it launches.

You will enter your address and your insurance coverage limits, then photograph the things you own. The app will total their replacement cost and compare it with your personal property limit, so you can see whether you are underinsured and by how much. Your documents will live in the same home record.

The first version will run in the web browser on phones, tablets, and computers, with nothing to download. That keeps it simple for an agent to share with a client.

A Digital Home Record is a single, organized record of a home: its profile, ownership and insurance documents, warranties and receipts, and an inventory of what is inside. The point is to have everything ready for the moments that need it, such as an insurance claim, a sale, or a refinance.

The first version is planned to include a home profile, a document vault for closing documents, policies, warranties, and receipts, a home inventory with photos and replacement costs, and the insurance coverage gap check. A maintenance log with reminders, a service provider directory, exportable reports for claims and sales, and transferring your record to the next owner are on the roadmap after that.

It compares what your belongings would cost to replace with the personal property limit on your homeowners policy. If your belongings are worth more than your policy covers, you see the gap in dollars and can talk to your agent about closing it. It will be free to homeowners when a partnered insurance agent provides it. Agents will pay $20 per active client per year. A direct tier for homeowners without a partnered agent is planned for 2027.

Agents benefit when clients right-size their coverage, and homeowners rarely pay for documentation software on their own. Having the agent pay keeps the product free for homeowners and aligns the pricing with who gets the economic value.

MyHomePlatform is still being built and is not yet storing homeowner data. Before it does, we will publish exactly how your documents and records are stored, encrypted, and backed up, so you can judge that for yourself rather than rely on a slogan.

You will. Your insurance agent provides the account, but your inventory, documents, and home record belong to you. If your agent stops offering the product, you will keep read-only access to everything you have added. We will not sell your data or share it with insurance carriers.

Exportable reports for claims, sales, and refinances are on the roadmap. Because your home record belongs to you, getting a complete copy of it out will be part of the product, not an upgrade.
