Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 26, 2026
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This page lists every cookie myhomeplatform.com sets, the information it keeps in your browser's local storage, and how to control both. For how we handle personal information more generally, see our privacy policy.
Cookies we use
We use one cookie of our own, plus analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. We do not use advertising, social media, or retargeting cookies.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Set |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| gdpr-region | MyHomePlatform | Records whether your country requires opt-in consent, so we know whether to show the cookie banner | 24 hours | Always |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors and sessions for aggregate traffic statistics | Up to 2 years | Only with analytics consent |
| _clck, _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Groups page views into sessions for heatmaps and session replays | Up to 1 year | Only with analytics consent |
When Microsoft Clarity is active, Microsoft may also set cookies on its own domains. Google and Microsoft describe how they use this data in the Google partner sites policy and the Microsoft privacy statement.
Information kept in your browser
Some features save information in your browser's local storage instead of a cookie. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
| Key | Purpose |
|---|---|
| cookieConsent, cookieConsentDate | Remembers your choice on the cookie banner and when you made it |
| mhp-breaker-directory-v1 | Saves what you enter in the breaker box label template so it is there when you come back |
Our calculators do not save anything; values you enter are used only on the page.
How consent works
MyHomePlatform is intended for visitors in the United States. For U.S. visitors, analytics are on by default and no banner is shown; you can turn them off using the options below.
If you visit from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you will see a cookie banner instead. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity stay off unless you choose Accept. If you choose Decline, only the gdpr-region cookie and your saved choice are stored.
How to control cookies
Turn analytics on or off. Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. Choosing Decline turns off Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity and deletes their cookies from this site. Your choice is saved in your browser.
Opt out of Google Analytics everywhere. Install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Block or delete cookies in your browser. Every major browser lets you block cookies or clear them for a single site: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever we add or remove a cookie, and change the date at the top when we do.
