Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 26, 2026
This policy explains what Scalable Ventures LLC (“MyHomePlatform,” “we,” “us”) collects when you visit myhomeplatform.com, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. We have tried to describe what this website actually does, in plain language.
MyHomePlatform is intended for people in the United States, and this policy is written for U.S. visitors. If you visit from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States as described here.
MyHomePlatform, the home record and insurance coverage check, is still in development. This policy covers the website only. Before the product stores anyone's home records, we will update this policy to describe how that data is handled.
The short version
- If you use our contact form, including to request a demo or join the waitlist, we receive your name, email address, subject, and message, and use them to reply.
- With your consent where the law requires it, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used.
- Our calculators and templates run in your browser. What you type into them is not sent to us.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing privacy@myhomeplatform.com.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the contact form, whether for a general question, a demo request, the waitlist, a partnership, or feedback, we collect your name, email address, the subject you choose, and your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that email.
The website does not currently offer accounts, and it does not take payments.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4). Pages you view, how you arrived, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and on-page events. When you submit the contact form we record that a lead was submitted and its subject; your name and email are not sent to Google.
- Session analytics (Microsoft Clarity). How you interact with pages, such as clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, used to produce heatmaps and session replays that show us where pages are confusing. What you type into our contact form and home inventory template is masked, so it is not captured in replays.
- Request data. Like any website, our servers receive your IP address and browser details with each request. We use your IP address briefly, in server memory, to limit repeated form submissions from the same address; it is not written to a database. We read your country from the request to decide whether to show the cookie banner. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs.
Information that stays in your browser
Some features save information only in your browser's local storage, on your device. This includes your cookie choice and the entries you make in the breaker box label template. Values you enter into our calculators are used only on the page and are not sent to us. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings.
2. How we use your information
- To reply to your message, arrange a demo, or tell you when MyHomePlatform is available if you joined the waitlist.
- To follow up about a partnership or feedback you sent us.
- To understand which pages are useful and improve the website.
- To detect and block spam and abuse of the contact form.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
3. Cookies and your choices
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are on by default for U.S. visitors. Visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom see a cookie banner instead, and those tools stay off unless they choose Accept. We use these cookies:
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Set |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| gdpr-region | MyHomePlatform | Records whether your country requires opt-in consent, so we know whether to show the cookie banner | 24 hours | Always |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors and sessions for aggregate traffic statistics | Up to 2 years | Only with analytics consent |
| _clck, _clsk | Microsoft Clarity | Groups page views into sessions for heatmaps and session replays | Up to 1 year | Only with analytics consent |
You can turn analytics on or off at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with Google's browser add-on. See also our cookie policy.
4. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the website, and only for that purpose:
- Vercel, which hosts the website and processes request logs.
- Resend, which delivers the emails generated when you submit the contact form, including the confirmation sent to you.
- Slack, where we receive an internal notification of new contact form submissions.
- Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity), as described above.
- Our email provider, where your message and our replies are stored.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We and these providers are based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there.
5. How long we keep it
- Contact form messages are kept for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and deleted when they are no longer needed or when you ask us to delete them.
- Waitlist requests are kept until we have told you the product is available, or until you ask to be removed.
- Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
- Blocked spam submissions are not emailed or stored, although the email address may appear briefly in our hosting provider's logs.
6. How we protect it
The website is served only over HTTPS, and access to contact form messages is limited to the people who need them to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the small amount of information this website collects.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights:
- California and other states with consumer privacy laws: the rights to know, access, correct, and delete your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
To make a request, email privacy@myhomeplatform.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we will respond within the time the law requires.
8. Children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change, including before the MyHomePlatform product begins storing home records. We will change the date at the top when we do, and for significant changes we will provide a more prominent notice.
