These terms govern your use of myhomeplatform.com (the “website”), which is operated by Scalable Ventures LLC(“MyHomePlatform,” “we,” “us”). By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. What the website is

The website provides information about home ownership, documentation, and insurance, along with free calculators, templates, and guides, and a contact form you can use to ask questions, request a demo, or join our waitlist.

MyHomePlatform, the home record and insurance coverage check described on the website, is in development and is not yet available. Descriptions of it reflect our current plans, which may change. Joining the waitlist or requesting a demo does not create an account, a subscription, or any obligation for you or for us. When the product launches, it will have its own terms, which we will ask you to accept before you use it.

2. Who may use the website

The website is intended for people in the United States who are at least 18 years old. By using it, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Information, not professional advice

Everything on the website, including articles, guides, calculators, templates, and comparisons, is general information provided for educational purposes. It is not insurance, legal, financial, tax, real estate, or electrical advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional who knows your situation.

  • Calculators produce estimates based on the numbers you enter and simplifying assumptions. They do not predict what an insurer will pay, and they are not a quote, an appraisal, or a coverage recommendation. Review your actual policy with your insurance agent or carrier.
  • Home maintenance and electrical content, including the breaker box label template, describes common practices. Electrical work can be dangerous. Do not open electrical panels or work on wiring unless you are qualified, and hire a licensed electrician when in doubt.
  • Product comparisons reflect publicly available information on the date noted. Other companies' products, features, and prices change, so check with them directly before deciding.

We work to keep the website accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that any content is complete, accurate, or up to date. You are responsible for decisions you make based on it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the website in a way that violates any law or the rights of others;
  • submit false, misleading, or spam messages through the contact form, or use it to send advertising or solicitations;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the website, or try to gain unauthorized access to any part of it or the systems behind it;
  • introduce viruses or other harmful code; or
  • copy or republish substantial portions of the website's content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

5. Our content and your license to use it

The website and its content, including text, graphics, calculators, templates, and the MyHomePlatform name and logo, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may view, download, and print the website's content, and fill in and use our templates, for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to any page. Any other use requires our written permission. This license ends if you breach these terms.

Other companies' names and trademarks that appear on the website, including in comparisons, belong to their owners. We use them only to identify those companies' products, and their use does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them.

6. What you send us

When you contact us, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Our privacy policy explains how we handle it.

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback about MyHomePlatform, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you. Please do not send us confidential information through the contact form.

7. Links to other websites

The website links to websites and services we do not control, including other home management apps, government resources, and manufacturers. We are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE WEBSITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY CALCULATOR RESULT OR OTHER CONTENT IS CORRECT FOR YOUR SITUATION.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR PROPERTY, OR ANY UNINSURED OR UNDERINSURED LOSS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR ITS CONTENT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

BECAUSE THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE WEBSITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages, so some of the limitations above may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the website.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or the website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Jefferson County, Kentucky, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised terms. We may also change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time, and we may restrict your access if you breach these terms.

13. General

These terms, together with our privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the website. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
